Favorite Jeans through a toy microscope.

  1. You gotta be fuckin kidding me. For $275 you could buy a Filson coat blessed by the pope.

  2. I'm certain that at some point, you've had to try to explain what "Craft" means to someone who simply didn't understand.

It's a comfort to me that you and I will never have to have that akward conversation.

Chinese pants are the same as Chinese bicycles. And you know it.

  3. I thought Bills Khakis(also made in the U.S.) were breath-taking at $125. Okay, I must confess, I have a couple of pair of Orvis cords that are $150. Leather pocket trim, etc - weigh about 10 pounds a pair. But $275?

  4. The little secret is that I bought these directly from the maker for $150. They were a screaming deal, at that.

Made to measure jeans, cut and sewn by one guy in Oakland, on really neat old machines, out of denim from a family-owned mill that's been in operation for over 100 years.

I wear them every day, and every day I'm happy in them.
